A small panel that arrives in the corner once someone is far enough down the page to have decided they like it.
What to watch for. Scroll down. At 40% of the page the panel slides in from the corner. It never covers the text you are reading, and the page keeps working behind it.
Someone who has read 40% of a page has told you something that a thirty-second timer never could. They did not bounce, they did not skim and leave, they are still here. That is the moment to ask for an email address, and it is the moment this campaign waits for.
The threshold is a number you set, not a fixed behaviour. Forty per cent suits a long article. On a short landing page you might want seventy, or a time-on-page trigger instead, or an element coming into view — the plugin offers all of them and they are configured the same way.
A modal stops everything. A slide-in asks. It takes a corner of the screen, leaves the article readable, and lets someone carry on scrolling without dealing with it first. For a request as small as an email address, that is usually the right trade.
It is also the format that behaves best on a phone. On a narrow screen the panel takes the full width at the bottom of the viewport rather than floating in a corner, which keeps it reachable with a thumb and keeps it out of the way of the text.
There is deliberately more page here than the panel needs, so you can watch it arrive at the right moment rather than immediately. A demo that fires on the first pixel of scroll would not be showing you anything useful.
Once it has appeared, it stays until you close it or submit it. Closing it puts it away for seven days by default; converting puts it away for good. Both of those are settings, and both are enforced in the browser, so a full-page cache cannot get them wrong.
The panel you are waiting for is a campaign exactly like the exit-intent modal on the previous page — same builder, same elements, same lead storage. Only the format and the trigger differ.
How this one is set up
Scroll depth, time on page, exit intent, click and element triggers — none of them cost anything.
